Artivism is a student-run organization based in New Jersey, with members from different high schools across New Jersey, New York, California, Connecticut, South Korea, and Hong Kong. We were founded in 2020.
Race and income are the most significant predictors of whether a child has access to an arts education. Our mission is to provide children of color in low-income communities a chance to explore the arts, be it theater, music, or visual art. Exploration of the arts is a vital component of child development, and we hope to play a part in bringing art to children with limited access. Be sure to check our YT for videos and showcases!
